About This Product
An aluminum hourglass sleeve (also called a duplex or figure-8 sleeve) is used to terminate steel wire rope by creating secure end loops or connecting two cables. When properly crimped (swaged), it prevents wires from crossing, distributes load evenly, and achieves about 90–95% of the cable's rated breaking strength.
