A multi-directional lifting swivel (commonly known as a swivel hoist ring) is a heavy-duty rigging device that rotates 360° and pivots 180° under load. It automatically aligns with the direction of the lifting force, eliminating dangerous side-loading and preventing the bolt bending that often occurs with traditional fixed eye bolts.
